Wordpress LScache Plugin: 2 Lazy Loading Feature Requests
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hey guys, Would like to make two suggestions to the lazy loading currently implemented. 1. Much like WordPress 5.9 is about to do, include an option to skip lazy loading for the first XXX amount of images on page. Eg: the user could input 2, and then the first 2 images on the page would not be lazy loaded. Other plugins like Autoptimize already support this and it helps with CLS and page load issues. 2. The ability to set a buffer on when image being to lazy load. As is mentioned in the comments section in your blog post: https://blog.litespeedtech.com/2017/11/08/wpw-when-its-good-to-be-lazy/ from 2019, WP Rocket allows the user to select an amount of pixels before the image starts to lazy load. This kind of functionality would be fantastic to have as well. Thanks for making a great plugin, hopefully these two suggestions can be considered. Regards Tim Hi, yes , we have something similar working in progress Best regards,
