What do you need the Cache Crawler for?
The question of what you need the cache crawler for should actually answer itself, but there are many users of the LiteSpeed Cache Plugin who know little about what you need the crawler for. In addition, the many settings overwhelm at least every second user. As a result, incorrect settings are very often made, which either overload the server so that the crawl process is aborted or the incorrect configuration means that the crawler cannot use its full potential.
Very many users do not use the crawler at all because they believe that the loading time of a website could be improved with the best possible optimization. But this is a widespread misconception. It is not the optimization that makes a website fast, but the cache function and so that every visitor can benefit from it, you have to warm up the cache using the crawler. Said optimization is not superfluous, but you have to know that optimization improves the so-called display time, but only marginally the loading time. Even the best optimization does not change the fact that almost the same amount of data still has to be loaded with or without optimization, which almost exclusively refers to static sources, i.e. CSS, Javascript, images and fonts. However, these static sources can only be loaded once the server has provided the data for the main document. As long as this is not the case, the static sources are not loaded either. So you can optimize your website as much as you like, but the loading time will change almost nothing.
