Wordpress LScache Plugin: .htaccess_lscachebak_01
Hi. Ive seen there are several htaccess files created, sometimes (depending of the number of times i restore from a sofaculous backup) i have like 8-9. I always delete them all except the .htaccess_lscachebak_orig and .htaccess_lscachebak_01. Should I delete them all? Should I delete all except the _orig? Should I not delete them? Thank you. Hi, As you can see from the name , its backup files every time when you change something in LSCWP that modified .htaccess, it will creates a backup in case of failure Of course you can delete them as long as you know your cache is working fine , and you know how to revert back in case of problem. Best regards I was thinking the same when ive seen the files, but are u sure they are backups? Because they are not even close to the same size. If is a noob question, my apologies Hi, Well , nobody is all-knowing , so everybody got some noob questions every now and then, and everyone starts from noob Yes , I am sure they are back up files the size you see different is because the content. for example , the original content before modification is : This is code line 1 and you add few lines of rewrite rule into there , and copy the file before you do This is code line 2 This is code line 3 This is code line 4 This is code line 5 but if you open the backup file , its still 1 line , so its practically 5 times different in size. You can simply open them up and make comparison.
